Kerry Wisner Co-Founder of Akhet Hwt-Hrw Kerry Wisner has been active in a number of esoteric disciplines for much of his life. His father, who had trained with an esoteric Mystery School, had first introduced Kerry to many different metaphysical concepts as a child. In his teens and early twenties Kerry studied Astrology under the instruction of Sybil Leek, Helen Whitehead, the Theosophical Society and a number of prominent Astrologers both on the East and West coasts of the United States. It was in the 1980's that Mr. Wisner first became actively involved in the study and practice of Ancient Egyptian religion, as well as certain contemporary Western Mystery Traditions. It was during this time that he began to amass a considerable library of ancient texts, academically accepted Egyptological resources, as well as contemporary occult literature. His devotion to both the study and practice of Ancient Egyptian religion as well as Western Esoteric disciplines has continued ever since.

In 1990 Kerry and Linda Wisner began to form the organiziation that would evolve into Akhet Hwt-Hrw. From the beginning a strong emphasis was placed on the traditions associated with the goddess Hwt-Hrw (Greek name: Hathor), particularly the rituals associated with the ancient temple of Dendera. However, the teachings and rituals of all the other Neteru/Gods of Egypt also came to form a part of Akhet Hwt-Hrw. After several years of working on a local level Akhet Hwt-Hrw published a website and began offering courses via the Internet. Today, Mr. Wisner is the author of four books, three correspondence courses, as well as a variety of study modules all documenting the spiritual tradition of Ancient Egypt as a viable system for today.

For more than two and a half decades Mr. Wisner has been teaching extensively on a wide variety of subjects. His expertise covers many different areas of esoteric and occult studies. In addition Kerry is a Certified Hypnotherapist, and Forensic/Investigative Hypnotist trained through an accredited law enforcement academy. He has been insturmental in the investigation of several crimes through his skills in investigative hypnosis. With a keen interest in philosophy, particularly Taoism, Mr. Wisner is an avid Martial Artist holding a Black Belt in Kempo Karate and Red Sash in Shaolin Kung Fu.
