| Kerry began his research into Ancient Egyptian Religion and Magical practices in the mid-1980's. This quickly became an obsession as he began to realize the depth and complexity of this wonderful spiritual tradition. In the early 1990's Kerry and his wife Linda began to form the practices that would evolve into Akhet Hwt-Hrw. Drawing directly from Egyptian temple inscriptions and academic texts Kerry and Linda practiced the religion of Egypt in private for a number of years. From the beginning a strong emphasis was placed on the traditions associated with the goddess Hwt-Hrw (Greek name: Hathor), particularly the rituals associated with the ancient temple of Dendera. However, the teachings and rituals of all the other Neteru/Gods of Egypt also came to form a part of Akhet Hwt-Hrw. After several years of working on a local level Akhet Hwt-Hrw published a website and began offering courses via the Internet. Today, Mr. Wisner is the author of four books, three correspondence courses, as well as a variety of study modules all documenting the spiritual tradition of Ancient Egypt as a viable system for today. |

In addition to his esoteric practices Kerry and his wife run an animal rescue Fauna Rescue, Inc.; an organization dedicated to the care of abused animals. Part of their work involves the building of a permanent santuary for the care of these animals. As of this writing Kerry and Linda are in the process of moving deep into the woods of western New Hampshire. There they will continue their work with animal rescue and rehabilitation. A portion of this woodland estate will be dedicated to the continued research and practice of the esoteric arts. The site will include a permanent library for the extensive collection of books and manuscripts amassed over decades of research. In addition an outdoor ceremonail site has already been established, as well as an area dedicated to educational gatherings. |
